Ten days of worship: Sunday 11 October to Tuesday 20 October 2026

Sharannavarathri Mahotsava 2026 is celebrated as a 10-day festival from 11 October through 20 October 2026. The programme combines the temple’s established Shakta and Bhagavathi-oriented tradition with daily Homas, Chandika Parayana, devotional worship, evening Rathotsava and Prakara Bali, and a rich cultural programme. Devotees and families are warmly invited to take part every day.

Colour of the day – For devotees’ dress, temple cloth and stage draping

Days 1 to 9 follow the standard Navaratri colour sequence for a festival beginning on a Sunday. Because the 2026 Utsava runs for ten days, one further colour is proposed for 20 October, marked in red below.
